Myra is incredible at what she does. She offers a safe environment and has a very big heart and open mind. I always felt heard when expressing my lifestyle concerns to Myra and never felt judged or ridiculed. Myra guided me on a journey of discovering the benefits of holistic nutrition, took the time to make a list of foods and meals that would be right for my body, explained the benefits of certain food groups and examples of foods in each groups, and extended the offer to message her outside of our scheduled meetings when I wanted to celebrate a success. As a student, coming up with a routine, finding meals that were affordable and nutritious, and learning how to manage stress were the three vital topics that I wanted to explore with Myra and we not only created a plan for each and every one of these topics, but Myra went above and beyond and helped me with other aspects of my life such as sleep, exercise and completing basic daily tasks to name a few. It’s amazing to think that four months ago when Myra and I first started our sessions together I was at a very low point in my life and could not get out of bed, did not exercise or eat properly, and could not manage basic daily tasks due to low energy and mood; but now I have a better understanding of nutrition, am able to get out of bed, exercise and eat routinely, and can complete basic daily tasks without feeling completing exhausted and drained of all my energy. I truly could not have made it this far without Myra’s guidance and encouragement. She has an infectious smile and positive spirit that warms me up and fills me with excitement and immeasurable joy!
